Jorge Seijin Quiros, one of the founding members of the Casa Zen and a student of Roshi's since 1988, passed away suddenly on the last morning of a 7-day sesshin in Costa Rica. He had just taken his seat in the zendo for the early morning chants when he suffered massive heart failure.
A seventh and final year memorial service will be held during the Sunday morning sitting to help Jorge in any transition he continues to make in his life journey.
